Robert W. "Bob" Rosmann

1936 - 2018


Robert W. "Bob" Rosmann, Sr., 82 of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 at Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa.

Born in Kenosha on Oct. 15, 1936, he was the son of Leo B. and Helen (Skendziel) Rosmann.

On Sept. 14, 1957, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, he was married to Ruth E. Woller.

Bob was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and he attended grade school and high school there.

He was employed for twelve years by Rosmann Bros. Excavation and then thirty-five years with Quaker Industries of Antioch, Ill.

Bob enjoyed gardening and reading; especially Civil War history, and he was an avid Packer fan.

Survivors include his wife if 61 years, Ruth Rosmann; two sons, Robert, Jr. (Marsha) and Richard (Jane) Rosmann; two daughters, Elizabeth (Roger) Bolton and Carolyn (Fred) Scollay; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Bernard and Kenneth Rosmann; and a sister, Kathleen (Byron) Biehn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Robert "Robby" Rosmann, III; and a granddaughter, Amanda Ewer.

Funeral Services honoring Robert's life will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at noon at the Pasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation will take place on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
