Peter P. Petrouske 1937 - 2017

Peter P. Petrouske, 80, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

He was born on Feb. 9, 1937, to the late Peter and Mary (Marchulaitis) Petrouske in Racine, Wis. On June 14, 1958, he married the former Darlene Bambrough at St. George Catholic Church. He worked at AT&T as an engineer for over 37 years until his early retirement. In Peter's spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, wine making, and teaching Hunter's Safety to over 10,000 students over a period of 40 years. He was a proud member of the Wisconsin Conservation Alliance, Coast Guard Auxiliary, and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. Peter was an active member at Nativity of Our Lord Parish as lector, sacristan, usher, Eucharistic minister, and started the Ashwaubenon Council of the Knights of Columbus.

Peter will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Darlene; his children, Stephen (Elizabeth), Cheryl (Ricky) Alderson, Michael (Jennifer), Janice (William) Kemnitz, James (Elaine), and Mark (Necid); 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Joseph (Barbara), Charles, and Mary (John) Bartlett.

Peter is preceded in death by his great-grandchild, Sophia Grace Haskell.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., from 2 p.m. until the time of Parish Wake at 4 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Oneida St., from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. John H. officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
